About this event

Turning Wheels for Kids, a program of Valley Health Foundation, is thrilled to announce the 2024 Holiday Bike Build on December 7th at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds Pavilion Hall! This year, our goal is to build 500 bikes for low-income kids in our community.
We believe that bicycles have the power to transform lives. They offer children a fun way to stay active, supporting their health through regular exercise, while also providing a means of transporation and a gateway to exciting new adventures. You support helps to build a stronger, healthier community!
Here’s how you can get involved:
Volunteer: We have a range of opportunities for you to support the Holiday Bike Build. Your time and skills are crucial to making this event a success! If you’re coming with a team, please be sure to include your team name in your registration. Registration as a Bike Builder, Bike Buddy, or member of the Green Team required to attend.
Make a Donation:Â To help cover event costs and ensure the beloved Holiday Bike Build continues, we kindly ask each volunteer to make a donation that feels meaningful to them. Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps us provide bikes to children this holiday season. A gift of $200 will cover the cost of a bike, helmet, and lock for a child in our community.
